Coverage:

• hospital rate of the host province
• medical services up to the amount paid for the same services in Quebec

Out of Country Coverage

• services of a physician up to the amount paid for the same services in Quebec
• when necessitated by sudden illness or emergency:
  • up to $498 per day for hospitalization including out-patient surgery or $60 for each out-patient consultation including diagnostic or therapeutic services
  • the full cost of diagnostic or therapeutic services not available in Quebec when authorized in advance
